When will Train Mishaps Come to an End?

November 23
11:58 2016

railNew Delhi, Wednesday, November 23 – The recent train accident near Kanpur raises concern about passengers’ safety in all senses. A few people who were sleeping at the time when Indore Patna derailed had no clue what’s next going to happen, while those who were awake were unsure about what to do and scared, at the same time.

According to a latest report, the derailment of Indore-Patna Express is the deadliest rail accident after 1999. The death toll is increasing steadily and has climbed to 145. Roles of rescue workers were big enough, helping the trapped passengers to come out from the mangled bogies.

It was certain that all the 14 derailed coaches of the Patna-bound train will slowly be removed from the tracks, bringing train operations on track soon. But life of the kin who lost their loved ones in the mishap would probably never be the same. Who is answerable for the lives of people who left for heavenly abode at young ages? Approximately 200 people received injuries in the accident, which separated several kids with their parents forever. Compensation can never take away the pain what people experience after losing their family members. Strict steps must be taken to stop such accidents as each life is precious.
