Indian Currency Cuts Preliminary Losses; Deals a Tad Low Today

rup1New Delhi, Tuesday, March 4 – The currency of India cut preliminary losses but was yet changing hands down by 4 paise to 62.08 in opposition to the greenback a tad prior to the noontime trade on Tuesday on spells of requirement for the US unit from importers as well as banks.

In addition to this, the local currency started again being down at 62.12 each dollar as opposite the earlier close of 62.04 at the Interbank Foreign Exchange and grew weaker more to 62.15 on constant demand of greenback from importers.

At 10:40 AM, the Indian rupee was stating at 62.08 each dollar. The currency drifted in between 62.15 to 62.075 each dollar at some point in the trade a little bit before the afternoon. In the intervening time, at 11 in the morning, the benchmark BSE 30 was changing hands up by 83.86 points, or 0.40 per cent, arriving at 21,030.51.
